We’re less than two weeks away from San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), and Funko is heading back to the convention center with a completely redesigned activation on the show floor — the Funkoville International Airport! The immersive experience will be open to all badged SDCC attendees from Wednesday, July 24 through Sunday, July 28. Fans can step into the “airport” and “take off” to must-see destination across the Funko brand. In total, Funkoville spans five aviation-themed booths this year: Funko (#5341),  Pop! Yourself (#5045), Loungefly (#5145), Mondo (#5137), and Funko Fusion (#5137)

One of the busiest places on the show floor is expected to be the Pop! Yourself booth, where you can line-up to create you own personalized cosplay character with accessories inspired by Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine film, complete with a character body and two additional accessories for $50. Attendees will receive exclusive Comic-Con packaging, a surprise “buddy” collectible, and access to two exclusive accessories: a Deadpool VIP lanyard and a TVA-inspired device.

If you’re not heading to the show this year you’ll still be able to get in on the fun. Fans at home can participate via the Pop! Yourself online experience starting Wednesday, July 24. They can purchase a $20 limited edition ‘attach pack’ to cosplay their  Funko Pop! as either Deadpool or Wolverine, along with the standard $30 Pop! Yourself collectible.

“Last year, we introduced our Pop! Yourself program to our fans, and the response has been beyond what we could have ever imagined,” said Johanna Gepford, SVP of Revenue. “Celebrating our one-year anniversary by directly engaging with the deep-rooted fandom of our  Funko community allows us to immerse our fans in all things Funko at the epicenter of pop culture with our brand-new cosplay experience inspired by Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine.”

Pop culture fans can also make stops in Loungefly baggage claim and the Mondo arcade to purchase a wide array of Comic-Con exclusives. Funko will also make some Comic-Con exclusives available through Funko.com, Loungefly.com, and Mondoshop.com.

To celebrate the highly-anticipated new AAA video game, ‘Funko Fusion,’ fans can try their luck on the “Funko Fusion Machine Game” for a chance to win instant prizes! In Funko Fusion (coming September 13) players will journey “through iconic worlds and mashup characters inspired by their favorite franchises in an action-adventure game with uniquely authentic, irreverent humor.” Sounds fantastic!

As an added bonus, fans can purchase a Funko Passport book for $5 at the Passport Station in  Funkoville  and collect four unique stamps created just for  SDCC!

Finally, this year’s Fundays will continue Funko’s Fantastic Voyage theme over two nights (Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27), featuring contests, exclusive giveaways, special guests, and announcements on upcoming drops from Funko and its brands.

Funko has confirmed that while Funko proper and Mondo will require a reservation (Funko will require advanced reservations, presumably through the lottery; Mondo will hand out time slots manually). You don’t need reservations for Loungefly.
