Spider-Man Swings Into San Diego For A Special 60th Anniversary Exhibit At The Comic-Con Museum
Spider-Man urns 60 this year, and if you’re a fan of the boy from Queens the Comic-Con Museum in San Diego has something special for you to celebrate. Beyond ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ — The Exhibition takes a look at six decades of the Friendly Neighborhood Superhero, who was first brought to life by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee.
The exhibition, created in partnership with Fever, features a collection of priceless Spider-Man and Marvel artifacts including original comic art, animation materials, and film production pieces like Andrew Garfield's Amazing Spider-Man suit and web shooters.
If you’re in San Diego for SDCC you’ll also be able to catch a special Spidey event. The museum is hosting it’s “Night at the Comic-Con Museum” event on July 20th at 6:30 p.m. PT (SDCC Preview Night) where attendees will see Spider-Man inducted into the Museum’s Character Hall of Fame. Tickets are available now for $250 each, which includes admission, entertainment, food, special guests and more! There is also a Red Carpet Reception Package of Four for $2,500, which includes valet parking, access to the sponsor hospitality lounge, and red carpet reception.

Fans who buy a ticket will also get access to the entire Comic-Con Museum experience, which includes exhibits such as “Pac-Man Arcade” and “Eight Decades of Archie.” The exhibit is scheduled to run through the end of the year.
