Fathom Evens Brings TRANSFORMERS Back To Theaters This Summer For 15th Anniversary Screenings

It’s a big year for movie anniversaries, and Fathom Events is bringing a lot of cult favorites to back to theaters this summer for film fans to enjoy. If you’re a Transformers fan, mark your calendars. Michael Bay’s first live-action film in the franchise is celebrating it’s 15th anniversary, and you can catch it on the big screen for two days only —- July 10 and July 14.

The film was released during the summer of 2007 and quickly became a box office smash, becoming the third highest grossing movie of the year, earning close to $320 million dollars at the domestic box-office. The success of movie spawned an entire franchise of Transformers movies, with four directed by Michael Bay, a Bumblebee spinoff directed by Travis Knight, and a new film titled, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, directed by Steven Caple Jr.

From director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg comes the thrilling blockbuster battle between the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. When their epic struggle comes to Earth, all that stands between the Decepticons and ultimate power is a clue held by a young man named Sam (Shia LaBeouf). Teaming up Bumblebee, an Autobot disguised as Sam's car, the heart-pounding race is on, against an enemy unlike anything anyone has seen before.
