THE BATMAN Kicks Off The "DC In Concert" Series In 2023
Over the last several years movie lovers have gotten a chance to experience Harry Potter, Jurassic Park and Star Wars (just to name a few) while listening to a live orchestra play the film’s soundtrack. Now, Matt Reeve’s The Batman is getting the live orchestra treatment, when it kicks off the new “DC in Concert” series in Spring of 2023.
Live entertainment and touring production company, TCG Entertainment, is teaming up with Warner Bros. Discovery for the first in a new series that is set to kick off March 18, 2023 at the Hammersmith Apoloo in London. It’s the first show in the larger “DC in Concert” series, which is presented by MGP Live.
“‘The Batman’ is the perfect film to debut the ‘DC In Concert’ series,” says Stephen Cook, founder, president, TCG Entertainment. “We are thrilled to provide fans of one of DC’s most iconic Super Heroes the chance to be immersed in a unique live viewing experience they will never forget.”
The official site describes the event as “a one-of-a-kind experience that is a mixture of going to the movie theater and a concert. The venue will have a larger-than-life screen that the film will be projected on to while an orchestra plays the film score live on stage in front of you.”
The tour will travel through Europe before stopping in the United States in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Miami, and Chicago. Here's the complete lineup of concert dates scheduled in 2023:
3/18/23 London, United Kingdom: Eventim Apollo
