Oscar Mayer Launches The Bologna-Inspired Face Mask You Never Knew You Wanted Until Now

Oscar Mayer has entered the beauty business. Yes. You read that right. The famous meat company has partnered with Korean beauty company, Seoul Mamas to create a face mask made for diehard col-cut lovers.

In what the company says is an “inspiration” from a classic childhood tradition of turning a slice of bologna into a mask by biting holes for eyes and a mouth and slapping it on your face, the iconic packaged meats brand is selling a limited-edition skincare mask for $5 on Amazon.

It's described by the brand like this:

Our bologna has a nickname and it's B-E-A-U-T-Y. No, this sheet mask is not real bologna. Put it on your face, not your sandwich. Treat yo'self. Meat yo'self. Or better yet, give the gift of bologna bliss to others. Nothing says "I love you" like a slice of self-care. Remember: You can't spell delightful without deli."

The mask packaging is similar to a package of Oscar Mayer bologna, but these masks aren’t edible. They’re made with with Witch Hazel Botanical and seaweed-derived ingredients and come with a warning to "not eat" them because "that's what bologna slices are for."

I can’t say I’ve ever wanted to slap a piece of bologna on my face — even one that’s designed to hydrate my skin. But it’s definitely a conversation starter, and believe it or not, it sold out almost immediately after it launched. Because, of COURSE it did!

Don’t worry — according to Amazon it’s going to be restocked soon. You can find the item listing here if you want to add it to your wishlist and keep an eye on its availability.
