Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back turns 40 this year, and DIFF Eyewear is celebrating with a collection inspired by some of the film’s iconic characters. The 7-piece collection includes designs inspired by Darth Vader, Princess Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2, and Boba Fett, all incorporating the iconic colors and patterns we associate with the characters. Take a look!

The collection includes Darth Vader-inspired black aviators, gold-rimmed C-3PO frames, a rose gold-framed cat eye style named after Princess Leia, round tortoise shell glasses inspired by Boba Fett, and blue-lensed aviators inspired by R2-D2 — each pair retails for $95. We love all the little details in this collection, like the subtle nod to Vader’s helmet across the nose bridge of Darth Aviators, and the shape of the C-3PO frames which mimic the shape of the protocol droid’s eyes.

The collection also includes Star Wars themed cases and cleaning kits. All of the designs are available in polarized lenses, and the C-3PO and Princess Leia versions are also available in perscription glasses. You can pre-order the DIFF x Star Wars collection online now. According to the website the frames are scheduled to ship by October 31st. With each pair of DIFF glasses sold the company helps provide the gift of sight to someone in need through eye exams, glasses, medicine, and surgery. The company has donated over 1.5 million pair of glasses worldwide to date.

Keep going for a closer look at each of the DIFF x Star Wars designs. Which design is your favorite? Would you like to see DIFF add more Star Wars inspired designs? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook or Twitter.
