Everything New Coming To Disney+ In May

People around the world are still spending a lot of time inside with their favorite streaming platforms while we’re all still social distancing to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. If you’re looking for some new things to add to your watch lists, Disney has revealed the full list of titles coming to Disney+ in May and it looks like there’s a lot to be excited about.
As we’ve already reported, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be joining the list of other 8 films in the Skywalker Saga you can stream in one place starting May 4th. If you’re always in the mood for more Star Wars content you’ve got the series finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the highly anticipated new docuseries, Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian. This 8-part docuseries will take a behind-the-scenes look at the live-action Star Wars spin-off season featuring exclusive interviews with the cast and crew.
There are also new episodes of Be Out Chef, Disney Family Sundays, One Day at Disney, plus brand new series including one I’m really looking forward to — Prop Culture. The eight-episode series will take Disney fans into the archives for a closer look at some treasures from some Disney’s classic movies.
There’s also some newly-added library titles like Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and the Homeward Bound movies. The Princess Bride, Hello Dolly, and Wes Anderson’s stop-motion, Fantastic Mr. Fox are also on the way.
I’m looking forward to giving John Carter another chance (can it really be as bad as I remember??), and to seeing how Brendan Fraser’s George of the Jungle holds up. But I’m probably most excited about seeing The Moon-Spinners again. My sisters and I loved this Hitchcock-esque mystery movie starring Hayley Mills growing up. With stolen jewels, a dash of danger, and a little romance it’s a nice bit of g-rated escape from reality. Keep going for the complete list of new additions to Disney+ in May.
