Bold Colors, Sheer Dresses, and Puffy Sleeves Ruled The 2020 Golden Globes Red Carpet
The 2020 awards season kicked off in Hollywood Sunday night with the 77th Golden Globes Awards. The annual event is voted on by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to recognize excellence in film and television and the stars were out in full force on the red carpet.
Some of the big fashion trends of the night were bold bright colors like red (worn by Scarlett Johansson, Helen Mirren and Nicole Kidman), sheer looks (we’re looking at you, Gwyneth and Charlize), and puffy statement sleeves (worn by Cate Blanchette, Olivia Coleman, and Zoey Deutch).
For the most part the men played it a little safer with more classic looks and I’m okay with that. 56 looks good on you, Brad Pitt! So does that classic Brioni tuxedo. What can I say. I’m a fan. Don’t judge.
