The First Wave Of The Star Trek x RockLove Collection Is Here!
It’s not a secret I’m a huge fan of RockLove Jewelry. It’s also not a secret I grew up with a Dad who quotes Vulcan proverbs and told us Tang was “Tranya” (all you TOS fans will get that reference). I discovered RockLove several years ago when I picked up some pieces from the Stargate and 2014 Star Trek lines, so it goes without saying that I’m beyond excited to see designer, CEO Allison Cimino is launching a new Star Trek Collection. Can you ever have too much space jewelry? No. I didn’t think so either. Take a look!
“Since I was 7 years old sneaking down to watch Sir Patrick Stewart in The Next Generation with my scientist father…I have been a Trekkie,” Cimino says. “My love of coffee and power stances learned from Captain Janeway. Grace and morality in leadership from Captain Picard. How to mount a chair from Riker.”
As a self-proclaimed “life-long” Star Trek fan, Cimino was invited “and honored” to work with Jeffrey Lombardi, the Prop Master of Star Trek: Picard. If you’re watching the new series this piece seen on Dahj & Soji (played by Isla Briones) will look familiar.
Cimino translated Lomardi’s original designs into the physical jewelry you’ll see the actors wear in Season 1 like the Star Trek X RockLove Dahj & Soji Omega Necklace ($95). All of RockLove’s Star Trek: Picard jewelry use the same sculpts as those made for the show so you will literally be wearing exactly what the actors wear. How cool is that?!?
In addition to the Picard-inspired necklace the rest of the initial collection include a Vulcan Mind-Melding Necklace and a suite of Klingon-inspired pieces.
As with every RockLove piece, the attention to detail is incredible. Look at the gorgeous color of the ethical and sustainable Nano Crystals used in the Star Trek X RockLove Klingon Batlh Signet Ring ($135) and Star Trek X RockLove Klingon Qapla’ Signet Ring ($115).
Each piece from the new collection will arrive in a signature Star Trek X RockLove Jewelry Box — black and silver metallic with vibrant blue galaxy print inside. If you’re hoping to see more Star Trek jewelry you’re in luck. Cimino says the Star Trek X RockLove Collection will have multiple releases throughout the year and span moments and characters across the entire Star Trek Universe.
Keep going for a closer look at each of the five new pieces which are available to shop now on RockLove.com. Make sure you follow RockLove on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to stay up-to-date on new releases, secret coupon codes, behind the scenes, and more.
