Sesame Street kicks off it’s 50th Season (and counting) November 17th. HBO is celebrating the milestone with a fun video taking a look back at with some of the iconic characters and their “favorite memories”.

I’m guessing most of you grew up watching the show. I did too, and to this day I’m more than a little jealous when I meet people (like my sister-in-law) who grew up in New York and actually got to visit Sesame Street (for real) for a taping of the iconic show.
I have so many childhood memories tied up around this show and its characters, so I found myself more than once getting a little misty when one of my favorites (like Slimer) make an appearance.
