Black Milk Clothing Drops A New Star Wars Lookbook!

A long time ago… (2010 to be precise)
In a Galaxy not that far away….

I first stumbled upon a small, Australian company called BlackMilk. As a life-long nerd and HUGE Star Wars fan, I’m always on the look-out for new ways to wear my fandom. At the time, there wasn’t a lot out there catching my eye. Then, I started hearing about some Artoo and C3-PO swimsuits and next thing you know I found BlackMilk Clothing.

If you’re familiar with the company’s history, you know that first round of Star Wars suits was shhh… unlicensed, and sadly SOLD OUT by the time I found their website. But I found some leggings that reminded me of one of my favorite games (that would be Tetris) that I decided I really needed, and I found myself quickly becoming addicted to BlackMilk’s shiny nylon goodness.

Let’s just say I’ve managed to acquire a LOT of their pieces over the years, including several from the company’s officially licensed Star Wars collection launched in 2012 and continued through 2015.

While I’ve enjoyed watching the company expand it’s line far beyond it’s initial leggings and swimsuits, I’ve found myself more than once wishing I’d picked up ALL their Star Wars pieces when I had the chance. Because can you ever have too much Star Wars in your closets?!? No. I didn’t think so either.

The wait for more Star Wars x Black Milk goodness is almost over! The company has been teasing it’s upcoming collection all week with a few images, including one revealing a a dress featuring a design reminiscent of the Roger Castel designed poster for The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars comic art shorts.

The lookbook for the collection dropped earlier today, showing photos of designs in a variety of styles and artwork. Looks like there’s even a few throwbacks to pieces in the original 2012-2015 collection.

Expect more sneak peaks to come. The BlackMilk x Star Wars collection launches September 18th at 7AM AEST.

Keep going for pictures!
