Jodie Whittaker's 13th Doctor Gets Her Own DR. WHO Barbie Doll

The Thirteenth Doctor is officially in. Jodie Whittaker made her debut Sunday night as the first ever female Doctor on the classic BBC series Doctor Who. More than 8 million people in the UK tuned in to catch her debut in The Woman Who Fell to Earth, making it the most watched episode in a decade.

Now, Mattel has officially unveiled its doll-sized version of the 13th Doctor which is available for pre-order now for $49.99. The fully-posable special-edition Barbie features a TV-accurate costume — such as her black rainbow-striped shirt, cropped pants, suspenders, and of course, her sonic screwdriver. Pre-sale of doll has already started on BBC Shop, Hot Topic, and Barbie.com. The initial run sold out quickly but don’t worry. According to the official Barbie website more Doctor Who Barbies will be available to ship December 14th.

Doctor Who joins a rapidly growing roster of pop culture inspired Barbies. The modern reboot of Tomb Raider Laura Croft and both Dana Scully and Fox Mulder from the X-Files have Barbies.
