Netflix's long-awaited Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is headed our way in a few weeks, just in time for some pre-Halloween binging. The full trailer for the series dropped today, and it’s clear this is going to be a much darker take on the character made famous by Melissa Joan Hart in the 90’s.

The trailer begins with Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) racing home to the Spellman Mortuary with Harvey Kinkle (Ross Lynch), giving him a cute kiss as they say goodnight, and using her magic to immediately turn on the music and lights in her darkened home. Take a look!

"I'm not an evil person, but these are desperate times." Because who hasn’t faced dilemma of choosing between an ordinary teenage life with blood rites in a creepy forest in the middle of the night?!?

The series is set to be an hour-long drama that will reimagine the story of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age tale that traffics in horror, the occult and witchcraft — without a wise-cracking talking cat in sight.

Man Men‘s Kiernan Shipka stars as Sabrina, with a cast that includes Jaz Sinclair, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto, Richard Coyle, Ross Lynch, Tati Gabrielle, and Bronson Pinchot.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres on Netflix on October 26.
